Director's Note - May 2023

Greetings, Adventurers!
This is Jong Min Park, the Live Director of DFO.

I understand this must've been an especially frustrating issue to run into during the weekend.
Unfortunately the issue with the event could not be fixed with a simple client patch over the weekend as we needed to undergo a temporary maintenance. I also wanted to make sure that users were sufficiently compensated for the losses incurred due to this issue.
I would like to personally apologize for letting our Adventurers down.
I would also like to thank you all for trusting us to make the right changes in due time.
I'm back again this month as I promised last time that I would be back with details about Game Controller support.
The official Game Controller support for Dungeon & Fighter features much more than plug-and-play, so I thought our Adventurers would appreciate a more in-depth look at the reasoning and process behind development. So I asked the developers who worked closely on the project to share their insights, and what better than an interview to showcase these cool new features? I think some of you may even recognise one of the special guests in the video. Let's go ahead and take a look!
What are your thoughts on the features? I know it's already mentioned multiple times in the interview, but from what I've tested so far, the vibration feature was a really fun addition to experiencing DFO.
I hope this will encourage Adventurers who don't have experience playing DFO with a controller to try it out, as the feature will be implemented to our server in 3Q of this year!
Before I sign off, I would like to mention that I will be appearing in the May 26th ExStream to provide even more news regarding DFO content- *hint* a more detailed roadmap of the second half of the year! I hope to see you all in a few days!
Thank you for always loving and supporting DFO.
Sincerely,
DFO Live Director Jong
