Echon: The Strong

All Ghostfaces are born warriors, and some of them are stronger than the others.
A great many Ghostfaces challenged the strong and forfeited their lives.
Now the rest of their tribe steer clear of this place, afraid of those who stay here, waiting for new challengers.

Monsters

  • Boss: Earthquake Sini

Sini was a gatekeeper of an ancient sacred temple.
Well aware of the madness of war that had spread across Echon, he showed no mercy to enemies who came to his temple.
He fought and fought, but the enemies never stopped coming. It felt as if ages went by since he started fighting.
Slowly, he became addicted to the excitement of battle. He eventually became just like everyone else, fighting just for the thrill of it.
He was so engrossed in fighting that he forgot his duty as the gatekeeper. When his last weapon broke, he uprooted a column of his temple to swing it at his enemies.
The temple collapsed, but Sini didn't care. He was happy that he got to fight again.
But his happiness didn't last long. People stopped coming to the temple because it was ruined.
So he left the temple that no one visited anymore. To fight more battles. To find more excitement.

  • Named: Madman Karijan

Madman. There's no other word to describe Karijan.
He cackles and mumbles nonsense to himself. Sometimes he throws a temper tantrum like a little boy.
But if he was as innocent as a little boy, he wouldn't have been called the Madman.
He's called the Madman because he pulls arrows out of his body while laughing, swings his club as he utters nonsense, and strikes the ground with his club in childish rage.
If you see him anywhere in Echon, take my advice and steer clear of him. He could get really agitated by anything—or for no reason at all.

  • Named: Lonely Sharak

Sharak is lonely.
He is so strong that he is unrivaled on the battlefield.
Strong warriors come from all over Echon to challenge him, like moths to flames. So far, no one has beaten him.
At the end of every day, after fighting a long line of challengers, Sharak feels nothing but loneliness.
Unbearable loneliness washes over him every time he's reminded how no one in Echon can satisfy him in a contest of strength.
To give weak challengers a chance, he wore sand around his limbs and even fought with only one arm. Even so, no one could beat him.
This is why Sharak can't stop feeling lonely.
Today he's waiting for a good, exciting opponent, like he does every day.

  • Named: Ruthless Osha

Sasha is a dignified, merciful warrior. His brother, Osha, has always been compared to his perfect brother.
Wanting to beat his brother, Osha joined every battle he could, no matter how small and insignificant it was, and won it by fair means or foul.
On the outside, he was covered with scars and dust, but on the inside he was just as proud and passionate a warrior as his brother.
But the endless days of bloodshed had changed him. He became more brutal.
He killed everyone who was too injured to fight, even his allies, and took pleasure in their pain.
Ruthless Osha.
He started fighting to outshine his brother, but now he's fighting just to satisfy his lust for blood and power.

  • Named: Horn Collector Yaka

Yaka has a peculiar hobby. She collects the horns of strong opponents that she beat.
Over the years, she's defeated a great many strong warriors of Echon and collected their horns, which she wears around her neck and uses as weapons.
She's never told anyone why she's so obsessed with horns, but a few Ghostfaces who have known her for a long time have an idea.
When she was young, she met a warrior on the battlefield who soundly beat her and took her horns as a war trophy. They believe her obsession with horns has begun since then.
No other horns could ever replace her own, but still she wanders about the wasteland, looking for more horns to collect.
