Summary

• The Black Purgatory content will be added.
• You can play it in a party of 4 through the Destroyed Chest Town in the Black Purgatory channel.

Destroyed Chest Town

• Accept the Black Purgatory Episode quest, and Chest Town will be changed to Destroyed Chest Town.
• The area buff, Gracia Family's Radiance, will be added.
• Complete the Preparations for a Holy War quest to use this buff while in the areas below the Destroyed Chest Town.
• This buff increases STR, INT, Physical/Magical Def., and Max HP in dungeons.
• For the classes whose Neo: Awakening version is not yet available, the Victor's Radiance buff will be provided instead.
• Victor's Radiance: 15% Damage Increase Rate

Entry

How to Enter

• Complete the Level 100 Act quest, Preparations for a Holy War, to unlock the Black Purgatory channel in the Special Area Channels tab.
• You can create a party through NPC Judy Ringwood in the Black Purgatory channel.
• You can also use the Create Party button in the Look for Party window.
• After creating or joining a party, move to the right-hand area and accept Black Purgatory missions through NPC Grandis.

Entry Rules

• Only characters at Level 100 or above can participate.
• Requires a party of 4 players to start the missions.
• Parties of fewer players can't enter.
• At least 5938 Exorcism is recommended.
• Each mission consumes 30 Fatigue.
• At least 30 Fatigue is required to enter.
• No additional Entry materials are required.
• You can enter this content 3 times a week and clear it once a day.
• You can receive Weekly rewards up to twice.
• Its Daily Entry limit is reset daily at 09:00 UTC
• Its Weekly Entry limit is reset on Tuesdays at 09:00 UTC
• Its Weekly Reward Count limit is reset on Tuesdays at 09:00 UTC

Content Systems

Dungeon Restrictions

• A 25-minute limit is applied upon starting the content.
• Your mission will fail if you exceed the time limit, and your Used Entry count will be reset.
• You can retry it as many times as you want within the time limit, so long as you stay in the same party.
• Your Used Entry count will not be reset if you leave your party before failing or abandoning a mission.
• Life Tokens are limited to 5 per party.
• Puppet items are restricted from use in this content.
• Resurrection-related character skills are restricted from use.

Retreat from a Mission

• You can use the Retreat system with the Retreat button in the Status Board UI on the upper right side.
• Recovery time is applied, depending on the number of times you retreat. (5/80/100/130/180 sec.)
• You can't reenter the dungeon during this recovery time.

Abandon a Mission

• After Retreating, you can select Abandon Mission through NPC Grandis.
• If you abandon a mission, your dungeon progress will be reset and your used Daily/Weekly Entry count will be restored.
• To retry the dungeon, you'll have to leave your existing party and create a new one.

How to Play

• Black Purgatory consists of the following dungeons: Outskirts of Roschest, Destroyed Village, Path of the Cult, Near Chaos Gate, Graveyard of Terror, Paradise of Ruin, Cradle of Despair, and Chaos Gate.
• You can select different areas at crossroads to create your own route. Your final objective is to meet and stop Horrendous Astaros at the Chaos Gate.
• You can gain various effects, depending on your selection at the crossroads.

Crossroads

• During this content, you'll reach 3 different crossroads and gain a different effect, depending on your selection at the crossroads.

Intrusion

• Every time you make a selection at a crossroads, your chance of meeting an intruder in the selected area.
• The intruding monster has lower HP than usual.
• The intruding monster casts beneficial effects on your party.

Dark Knight

• Stop a Dark Knight to increase your Final Dungeon reward and dungeon difficulty level.
• Stop an intruding Dark Knight to increase your Final Dungeon reward.

Follower

• Stop a Follower to increase your party's Atk.
• +3%, 8%, or 25%, depending on the number of times you stop them

Rescue APC

• Rescue an APC, and the 1st player in your party can use its special ability with the Dungeon Special key.
• Rescue another APC, and the 2nd player in your party can use its ability.
• APC abilities can only be used during encounters with Followers and Dark Knights.

• Explore a dungeon past a certain section, and War Trader Posia will appear.
• War Trader Posia sells potions and resets skill cooldown for your entire party.
• Only your party leader can reset skill cooldown for entire party once.

Rewards

Black Purgatory Clear Rewards

• You can get the following rewards upon clearing the Black Purgatory.
• You can get these rewards up to twice a week.
• You can get the dungeon and final rewards only once a day.
• Your reward level increases, depending on the route you choose to explore the Black Purgatory.
• Your reward level also increases when your battle is intruded.
