Advancement: Vigilante

Malefic Beastification.
This is a phenomenon that usually occurs in Sacred Beasts and has never been found in humans.
But whether it's impossible or unknown is worth considering.

There are various cases, such as staying in a place where malefic energy is dense or being attacked by a Malefic Beast.
In general, humans who are exposed to the malefic energy become grotesquely distorted, lose their sense of self, and end up wandering around as Malefic Humans.
A few humans, however, embrace the malefic energy and survive as Malefic Beasts instead of Malefic Humans.
And so their tragedy begins.

Humans who undergo Malefic Beastification experience a great deal of confusion about their identity.
In the heat of the moment, they may lose control of their emotions and become a Malefic Beast, and when they regain their sense of self,
they may find themselves in the presence of their loved ones who have already been slaughtered.
Given the general perception of the malefic energy across Seon, they cannot even think of showing their true nature to anyone.
Inwardly, they must always remain calm in order to maintain their human self without being consumed by the malefic energy,
and outwardly, they must hide themselves to avoid being seen as Malefic Beasts.
Those who cannot withstand the tragedies that befall them may eventually choose to give up their ego and live as a full Malefic Beast.

Those who do not give up, however, continue to live as humans.
Those who survive know what they must do to continue living.
They must hide themselves and give meaning to their lives.
They want to find answers to the trials that have befallen them.
And ironically, it is the malefic energy that has brought them tragedy that helps them the most.
They still roam the dark streets today.

As the Vigilantes, they are the watchers of the night.

Toe the Line

Enables you to equip Ethereal Bows.
Ethereal Bows increase Malefic Energy Gauge through Basic attacks and some Skill attacks.

Malefic Beast/Human Transformation

1

Can be used on the ground or in the air.
This skill allows you to transform into either human or Malefic Beast form.
When you cast a skill that requires a different form, you will instantly transform and be able to cast that skill.
Also, enables to cancel during post-casting delay.

Claw Tattoo

1

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Creates a blade of malefic energy that slashes forward.

Cutting Shadow

A Malefic Beast skill that requires Malefic Energy.
Dashes forward, striking enemies in her path, and turns around to face the strongest enemy.

Hunter's Salutation

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Fires several small arrows of malefic energy in front.

Reject

Can be used in Human or Malefic Beast form.
Decreases damage taken while casting. Hold the skill key to increase the duration.

Malefic Beast Claws

15

Adds Malefic Energy on hit. Can be used in Human or Malefic Beast form.

* Human Form
- Can be used on the ground or in the air.
- Quickly slashes at enemies in front from up close.

* Malefic Beast Form
- Claws at enemies in front twice.

Abnormalities

Increases Basic Atk. and Advanced Skill Atk.
Increases Movement Speed and Physical/Magical Def. in Malefic Beast form.

Kin Hunter

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Fires malefic energy crystals, impaling enemies hit in one place and putting them into a Hold.

Pain Bringer

A Malefic Beast skill that requires Malefic Energy.
Dashes forward, attacking enemies in her path.
Temporarily increases Attack Speed and upgrades Basic attacks.

Face Clawing

25

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Activated when in close proximity to an enemy. Quickly slashes at the target twice, and then backs away with a finishing slash.

Snarl

Increases Basic/Skill Atk.

Neck Puncher

A Malefic Beast skill that requires Malefic Energy.
Creates malefic energy crystals from her tail and the ground around her, striking nearby enemies and pulling them forward.

Confirm Kill

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Fires two crossbow malefic energy bolts in quick succession, followed by a longbow arrow to finish off.

Eject Claws

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Slashes forward with a malefic energy blade filled with dense malefic energy, unleashing spirit swords that hits multiple times.

Imposed Ferality

35

Increases Critical Chance, Critical Atk., and Hit Rate.

Chasing Snake

35

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Creates a snake of malefic energy that shoots toward enemies in front of you.
The malefic energy snake will search for new nearby enemies with each hit, and will fly toward the newly discovered enemies.

Devourer

35

A Malefic Beast skill that requires Malefic Energy.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Searches for the strongest enemy nearby, and pounces and bite it.
Bleeds enemies and restores your HP on hit.

Beast Wind

40

A Human skill that adds Malefic Energy on hit.
Can be used on the ground or in the air.
Leaps into the air and fires an arrow that causes a malefic energy storm.
The malefic energy storm stays for a while, inflicting multi-hit damage. If you re-enter the skill key before the storm disappears, the skill ends with a finishing slash.

Cruel Slaughter

45

A Malefic Beast skill that requires Malefic Energy.
Searches for the strongest enemy nearby, grabs it in a bite, and spins with it in midair, inflicting Malefic Beast blade damage before landing.
This is followed by a landing shock wave, and a finishing move to snuff out the enemy on the ground.
