A 60-min. limit is applied upon entering the dungeon.
- If you exceed the time limit, you will fail and be automatically removed from the dungeon.
Puppet items are restricted.
You have a default limit of 5 Life Tokens and share the number with your party members.
- Skill cooldown will not be reset when you use Life Tokens in dungeons.
- If you retreat with fewer than 2 Life Tokens, the Life Token limit will be restored to 2.
Failure to defeat the final boss monster within the time limit will result in a failed clear.
The party leader can retreat from the dungeon using the Retreat button on the mini-map.
- If you retreat, you'll receive penalty time.
After retreating, the party leader can abandon or resume the content through NPC Record Keeper Romeo.
If you resume, the dungeon progress from before the retreat will be preserved, and you will start from the designated starting point based on your progress.
Abandonment first has to be put to the vote, and your entire party must agree to it.
- If you abandon a mission, all your dungeon progress will be reset and your Weekly Entry count will be restored.
The Area buff, "Undying Final Light," will be added.
- The "Undying Final Light" buff will be applied in the Grand Constellation Turtle Library content channel.
- It increases STR and INT upon entering dungeons.
- The stat bonuses from the Undying Final Light buff will not affect the Buffers' Buff skills.
You will explore Grand Constellation Turtle Library to stop Vanitas's invasion and awaken Myre before it does.

Grand Constellation Turtle Library has 2 routes, and you can choose your path by moving up or down at each route.
You will encounter "Distorted Book of Memory" monsters in each route. If you defeat them within the time limit, you can obtain buffs.
If you fight and defeat a mid boss, you will receive Constellation Turtle's Aid, which increases the final boss's incoming damage.
If you exceed the time limit and are removed from the dungeon, or if you retreat during the final boss battle, you will be fixed to the path where you fight a mid boss when you re-enter.
The 3 mid bosses change locations through a weekly rotation.

You will enter routes during dungeon progression.
At a route, you can move up to choose the path where you fight a mid boss, or move down to choose the path where you skip the mid boss battle.
The difficulty of the final boss battle changes depending on the path you choose.
You cannot change the path you selected on the route map.
|
|
|
This occurs if you proceed through the path where you fight a mid boss.
If you defeat the mid boss, you can receive Constellation Turtle's Aid during the final boss battle.
Each Constellation Turtle's Aid increases the final boss's incoming damage by 15%.
|
|
|
This occurs if you proceed through the path where you skip the mid boss battle.
The final boss battle time limit is set to 3 min.
If you exceed the time limit or retreat during the final boss battle, you will be removed from the dungeon. When you re-enter, you will be fixed to the path where you fight a mid boss.
After you choose a path at a route and proceed, you will encounter a "Distorted Book of Memory" monster.
If you defeat the "Distorted Book of Memory" monster within the time limit, you can obtain 1 of 12 Magic Tome or Forbidden Tome buff effects.
Each buff provides an effect that applies during the final boss battle and a constant effect, depending on its type.
Forbidden Tome buffs have a relatively lower chance of being obtained, but provide stronger effects than Magic Tome buffs.
Obtained buffs are stored in the Buff slots on the Mini-map, where you can check their effects.
Up to 2 buffs can be obtained.

During boss monster battles, marks will appear on monsters at set intervals. If you attack a marked monster, that monster's incoming damage will increase.

- It increases STR and INT upon entering dungeons.
- The stat bonuses from the Undying Final Light buff will not affect the Buffers' Buff skills.

In the Castle of the Apostate content, two Armament of Splendor options are provided: Judgment Spear of Splendor and Mercy Shield of Splendor. You can choose and use one of these armaments.
You can approach the object with a spear or shield drawn on it to switch to either Judgment Spear of Splendor or Mercy Shield of Splendor.
|
|
|
|
|
|
When you obtain an Armament of Splendor, the type of armament currently obtained and its cooldown are displayed above the HP bar UI.
You can use Armament of Splendor by pressing "Dungeon Special Key 1."
|
|
|
When you enter a Boss Monster battle, the Spear/Shield Counter value is displayed below the monster's HP bar.
The Spear/Shield Counter display changes when the monster starts an attack that corresponds to each armament.

The Mercy Shield of Splendor armament blocks enemy attacks and can deflect attacks if the timing is accurate.

Right before a monster uses an attack marked with a shield, use the Shield of Splendor armament to interrupt the enemy's attack and decrease the Spear/Shield Counter value.

When you use the Judgment Spear of Splendor armament, you charge in the direction your character is facing. If you use it with accurate timing, you can interrupt the monster's attack.

When a monster prepares an attack marked with a spear, use the Spear of Splendor armament to interrupt the enemy's attack and decrease the Spear/Shield Counter value.

If the Spear/Shield Counter value reaches 0, the monster performs a special attack. During this attack, you can use the Overpower skill to end the attack and put the monster into Groggy state.

The Outer Castle area consists of 3 Splendid Belfries and 2 True Path of Splendor areas.
Splendid Belfry
- 3 Named monsters are placed in the Splendid Belfry, and their locations change every week.
- Defeating the Named monsters placed in the north and south belfries increases the Armament of Splendor level and provides a buff that increases your Atk. in the battle against "Untruthful Veridicus."
- Defeating the Named monster in the east belfry opens the path to the Inner Castle area.
True Path of Splendor
- Defeating all monsters in this area provides a buff that increases your Atk. in the battle against "Untruthful Veridicus."

In the Inner Castle area, you can use the Altar of Splendor to move to the Confessional of Atonement area, where you can reach the final boss, "Untruthful Veridicus."
If you enter the Inner Castle area without defeating all 3 Named monsters in the Outer Castle area, then the hidden Named monster "Doom-Stained Violentia" appears in the Altar of Splendor area.
- If you fail to defeat "Doom-Stained Violentia" within the time limit, you'll be returned to the Outer Castle starting point. The rules will change so that the Inner Castle area opens only after you defeat all 3 Named monsters.
If you enter Castle of the Apostate in Matching mode, the rules change so that you must defeat all 3 monsters guarding the Splendid Belfries in the Outer Castle area before you can enter the Inner Castle area.

In Matching mode, the "Guidance of Splendor" effect will be added, replacing the Gaze of Malefic Energy effect from the Sunken Depths dungeons.
During boss monster battles, marks will appear on monsters at set intervals. If you attack a marked monster, that monster's incoming damage will increase.
You can get the following items upon clearing the dungeons, according to each of their rates.
All rewards in Advanced Dungeons appear as Clear Rewards.
