Main Characters

Shannon Myre

섀넌 마이어

A genius fighter who took the Arad continent by storm when she created a new fighting style of her own.

Her signature move was a low kick that she practiced to the max and combined with her steel high heels, the Steel Maria,

which she used to dominate the Imperial Arena in her youth, and which she famously used to defeat Pungjin's Nen Guard in one fell swoop.

This has led to the establishment of a number of martial arts schools across Arad that train students in the Shannon Myre style of fighting.

The art was originally developed to suit the female body, however, and is only taught to female fighters.

She is believed to have left her training in search of stronger opponents and her whereabouts are unknown.

Inventor "Sweetie" Tehiti

An inventor from Seon's inventor collective, Main Spring, currently residing in Clearmist's Inventor District.

She has a bright personality and gets along well with everyone in Clearmist, and aims to one day be recognized for her skills and represent Clearmist.

She's nicknamed "Sweetie" Tehiti because she has a surprising sweet tooth, even for a Nhadal. She can't work very well without eating enough sugar.

Her signature invention is the Mistpunk Desert Golem, a reworking of Main Spring's signature golem-type reinforcer to her liking.

While it performs better, the consensus is that it's more unstable.

As an inventor, she has a strong sense of belonging to Main Spring. The inventions of another group of inventors, the Cog Workshop, fuel her competitive spirit.

- "Voila—a new challenge that the Cogs could never dream of! What? Is it stable? Want to check it out?"

Scholar Riki

학자 리키

A scholar from Gravity Falls who came to Clearmist after dropping out of Ivory Sentence.

She lives in Clearmist's Scholar District, where she is working on intensifying the power of Mist Gear using mist particulates.

She's been working on her research for quite some time, dedicating her life to it, but hasn't come up with much beyond a strange mechanical contraption.

This is because she has no interest in translating her theories into reality, and even this machine was built from her research by a technician who wanted to prove her wrong.

But Riki was not at all disappointed when she saw the machine, as she felt that it was a good reflection of her theory, even if it was just producing results based on probability due to the nature of the particulates.

She now lets people use her machine for a fee to collect data, but the Seonans of Clearmist, who know that the odds of the machine working properly are not high, don't use her machine very often.

Perhaps Riki's cold and cynical personality plays a part in this.

"In theory, mist can be anything. Or more accurately, it has a probability of being anything."

Herbalist Sinsinia

신시니아

An herb merchant in Nanjang, a trade association of small merchants who banded together against Iwun.

She used to travel to Clearmist frequently to trade, and when the road to Gravity Falls became blocked, she made Clearmist her base of operations within White Ocean.

Originally a skilled herbalist and strong hunter, she was injured while searching for the herb Skybloom and was forced to retire.

After rebelling against the tyranny of the trading company Iwun, she registered as a vendor in Nanjang and is now living a second life as a merchant.

Utilizing her wealth of experience, she has gained a lot of support from herbalists.

Her partner is the Sacred Beast Randinake, who has been with her since the beginning of her herbalist life.

"Finding and harvesting herbs is quite a dangerous job. You should pay the herbalists more for risking their lives."

Bowyer Oldrein

올드레인

A bowmaker and member of the Horned Deer Guild.

He's still young and is eager to learn the art of bowmaking from other craftsmen.

He lives on the Horned Deer Plains and follows the other craftsmen to the city of Clearmist to run errands.

While he dreams of being a traveler, visiting civilizations he has never seen on the Horned Deer Plains, he also loves making bows.

Raised without parents by craftsmen, he has a gruff manner of speech and personality, but he also has an innocence about him, like the youth that he is.

"I don't intend to spend the rest of my life stuck in Clearmist like the old men in my guild. Once I learn all their tricks... Ah, there you go—err, why is this unraveling?"

Milan Litt

마일랏 린

A literary artist who lives in Clearmist's Living District and writes poetry among other things.

He was born with bad legs and lives in a wheelchair made of Mist Gear.

As a Dondolle with a high affinity for magic, he has a better connection with Sacred Beasts and is always surrounded by them.

He loves watching the night sky from an airship and dreams of one day joining a flying corps and flying the night skies of Seon.

"Maybe one day I can join a squadron and fly the night skies of Seon."

Peloma and Mr. Whitebutter

화이트버터씨

Peloma

A Sacred Beast that has lived in Clearmist for a long time.

Peloma, whose intelligence has increased over the years, sets up shop selling stolen precious metals to passersby and is notorious for harassing those who don't buy.

You would think this would irritate the people of Clearmist, but instead, they laugh at her antics.

Some time ago, she noticed Mr. Whitebutter's popularity with the people, so she joined him by attaching a perch to his hovercave and setting up shop in front of it.

Mr. Whitebutter

A longtime resident of Clearmist, Mr. Whitebutter is a Sacred Beast who is very much loved by the people of Seon.

The Seonans are fond of him, as they believe that his misty wool connects them to the Mist God.

For this reason, the people of Clearmist who have encountered Mr. Whitebutter have interacted with him in ways that are part cute and part respectful, such as giving him food and grooming him.

To keep his wool from getting dirty, the inventors gave him a hovercave, and thanks to their constant improvements, the hovercave is now a nest for Mr. Whitebutter, with many conveniences and safety features.

He has noticed that Peloma has been hanging around him for a while now, but he doesn't seem to mind at all.

"Caw! Caaw!" "Baa. Baaa."

Traveling Bonoz

보노즈

A Sacred Beast carrying a backpack disassembler invented by the Cog Workshop,

a device that allows the Sacred Beast to eat and digest equipment, magically disassembling the Five Elements contained within the equipment.

The Bonoz places equipment into the disassembler in its belly, cracks it open, eats it like a clam, and then spits out what's left.

Bonozes take great care of their backpack disassemblers, taking them to nearby workshops when they break down, and carrying them around with them as they travel the world, which is a great help to travelers.
