    - The carriage's direction-changing and moving speeds increase after a certain difficulty level.

    - A twister appears in the center of the map after a certain difficulty level, knocking you backward.
    - You can use this twister to evade the AoE lightning.

Castle Nebulous

  • Summon Stone Pillars
    - Summons more stone pillars at higher difficulty levels.
    - Summons stone pillars in all four directions at higher difficulty levels.

 

  • Evil Eye!

- Creates a 100% chance of Petrifying its target, and increases Petrification Level and duration at higher difficulty levels.

- Jumps, flies to an edge of the map, and casts Evil Eye at higher difficulty levels.

 

  • Summon Petrifying Gas

- Summons both Petrifying gas and stone pillars at higher difficulty levels.

- Summons petrifying gas 3 times in a row at higher difficulty levels.

Rangelus' Guerillas

  • Grenade Throw

- Changes its throwing motion and throws more grenades at higher difficulty levels.

- Further increases its grenade count at higher difficulty levels.

 

  • Record Strong Land Runner

- Changes its Land Runner summoning effect.

- Summons more Land Runners after a certain difficulty level.

- Land Runners are dropped in the same way as they are by the Mechanic's Mecha Drop, but along with multiple bombs, at higher difficulty levels.

 

  • Summon Tempester

- Summons more Tempesters after a certain difficulty level.

- Summons more Tempesters along with Land Runners at higher difficulty levels.

Castle of Bakal

Bakal, the King of Dragons

  • Claw

- More rocks fall at higher difficulty levels.

 

  • Fire Storm

- The range in which you could avoid the falling fireballs narrows down after a certain difficulty level.

 

  • Fire Breath

- Bakal knocks you backward more forcefully after a certain difficulty level.
- Fireballs fall around Bakal after a certain difficulty level.

Dark Side

Ozma of Chaos

  • Front Detonation

- The casting graphic effect and detonation range broaden at higher difficulty levels.
- Detonates and shoots a straight laser beam after a certain difficulty level.

 

  • Teleport

- Increases teleport chance at higher difficulty levels.
- Causes chain explosion around its spot before it teleports at higher difficulty levels.

 

  • Casting

- Reinforces its skills at higher difficulty levels.
 a) Explosion Spell: Summons more explosive orbs more often.
 b) Black Hole: Pulls more forcefully.
 c) Summon Imposter: Summons more Imposters more often.

 

- Further reinforces its skills at higher difficulty levels.
 a) Explosion Spell: Changes the type of explosive orb and attacks a broader area.
 b) Black Hole: Displays different graphic effects and inflicts damage on surrounding enemies.
 c) Summon Imposter: Additionally summons Astaros, Berias, or Tiamat.

Now activates Cancel Guard mode, during which he does not absorb incoming Physical/Magical damage.

 

Summons Tin Bladers at regular intervals.

 

Now activates a defense pattern that reflects all damage at higher difficulty levels.

Guardian Rime

Periodically summons ice pentacles that chase you.
 - This summoned ice pentacle approaches you and explodes before disappearing.

 

Now activates a defense pattern that freezes its attackers at higher difficulty levels.

Flame Gerald

No longer explodes its attackers.

 

Periodically turns red and sets its attackers ablaze.
 - The burning characters create a flaming area on the ground at regular intervals.

 

Summons heat waves on the ground.
 - The number of summoned heat waves increase in proportion to difficulty level.

Guardian Lumi

Now swings its sword and shoots spirit swords.
 - The number of summoned spirit swords increases in proportion to difficulty level.

Hammer King Borodin

Hammer King Borodin's effects have been improved.

 

His Kneel Before Me pattern has been updated.
 - As he hammers the ground, Borodin now sends forth a shock wave, which you can avoid by moving far away or jumping.
 - This shock wave's size and range increase in proportion to difficulty level.
 - This shock wave causes falling rocks from the ceiling at higher difficulty levels.

 

The Earth Cleaver pattern has been added.
 - Borodin forcefully hammers the ground, spreading a shock wave and cracks across a broad area in front of him.
 - The ground rises at higher difficulty levels.
 - The ground opens up and explodes at higher difficulty levels.

 

The Summon Five Knights pattern has been added.
 - Summons 1 guardian knight. If a knight is already summoned, then no other knight is summoned.
 - Periodically summons an additional knight at higher difficulty levels.
 - Simultaneously summons all the 5 guardian knights at higher difficulty levels.

 

The defensive Shield Push pattern has been added.
 - Pushes enemies with its shield when attacked.

 

The Triple Attack pattern has been added.
 - Quickly attacks 3 times as it charges.

Now a new Named monster, Hyper Mecha Ivan, appears in the map, performing powerful Ranged attacks.
 - His Rock Punch pattern is reinforced at higher difficulty levels.

Hyper Mecha Tau

Monster Transmitter

Hyper Mecha Tau's Defense mode no longer makes him Invincible, but significantly increases his Defense instead.

 

Hyper Mecha Tau now activates the Rodeo Time pattern when his HP drops below a certain amount.
 - Roars and throws his axe at the ground.
 - Uses a Charge pattern.
 - When the axe successfully sets the ground ablaze, Hyper Mecha Tau retrieves the axe, roars (and Stuns), and casts a buff on himself.
 - If the axe's flames are extinguished before it sets the ground ablaze, then the monster retrieves it and retains his current pattern.

 

Now summons Mecha Ivans instead of Land Runners.
 - Mecha Ivans use the following patterns.
  a) Periodically summon monsters from the monster transmitters in the map.
  b) Shoot laser.
  c) Rock punch
  d) The Gatling Gun and Rock Punch patterns are added and reinforced at higher difficulty levels.

 

The following changes have been made to Hyper Mecha Tau.
  - His Fire Breath graphic effects have been changed.
  - The condition for the Rodeo Time pattern has been changed (from 80% HP or lower to 50% HP or lower).
  - He no longer looks awkward when he is attacked after Rodeo Time.
  - His Defense mode now lasts for a shorter duration and displays a casting bar.
  - He can now activate Defense mode more than once, if certain duration and other conditions are met.

 

The monster transmitters in the Boss map now summon different numbers of monsters.
  - Now summon 3 Whimsical Sielles instead of 2.
  - The maximum number of monsters that they can summon has decreased.

When he charges at enemies while surrounded by grave robbers, the grave robbers do the same.

Evil Sword Aphopis

The Spectress Summon pattern has been added.

 

She now creates a chance of teleporting when attacked.

 

Her Black Hole pattern has been changed.

 - Now Blinds enemies instead of Silencing them.

 - The black hole is no longer fixed, but moves around like a missile at higher difficulty levels.

 

Summons the evil sword Aphopis, which starts fighting when Renee dies.

Bloody Storm Hardy

Hardy's Blood Cloud Summon pattern has been changed.

 - The summoned blood clouds' graphic effects have been changed.

 - Summons blood clouds in a different way at higher difficulty levels.

 

The Skeleton Summon pattern has been added.

 

The Bloody Storm pattern has been added.

 - Summons a swirl of blood that requires a long casting time.

 - If he is surrounded by skeletons, then the skeletons also summon swirls of blood and disappear.

 

Summons the evil sword Aphopis, which starts fighting when Hardy dies.

Its Spinning Spine pattern has been changed.

 - The spines spin and move back and forth 3 times at higher difficulty levels.

 - Mature Nugols also spin at higher difficulty levels.

 

A Charge pattern has been added.

 - Moves back and forth, charging at enemies.

They no longer absorb each other's Priest Ball and cause falling rocks.

 

They now use the invincible Teleport pattern less frequently, so you can attack them more easily.

 

Each time they use Priest Ball, a number appears above their head, and after 5 uses, they activate the Phantom Hole pattern, pulling you.

 

Nigrumnex now resurrects Candidumnex.

 

Nigrumnex's Priest Ball, when it collides with Candidumnex's, now causes a Shadow explosion.

Grim Seeker Noubillus

Immortal Imposter

He now can attack while using the Vampirism pattern, attacking multiple times and draining HP from enemies within his range.

 

Immortal Imposter now has a lower chance of summoning lightning, and the summoned lightning perishes after taking damage a certain number of times.

 

Now use Phantom Hole, a new pattern for the Grim Seeker Priests.

 

Each roll of Immortal Imposter bandage spawns 2 Immortal Imposters.

Deranged Imposters drop a roll of bandage after taking damage a certain number of times, summoning additional Deranged Imposters, at higher difficulty levels.

  • Small Interdimesional Rift: Its maximum number of Delezie's Necroplasms has decreased.
  • Delezie's Necroplasm: Now self-destructs when Small Interdimesional Rift is destroyed.

Phantasmal Delezie

It now burrows and shoots spikes across the ground for a shorter duration.

 

It shoots more powerful spikes while burrowing at higher difficulty levels.

 

Its drill attack now attacks multiple times.

 

It now summons more clones.

 

Its clones use part of the Delezie's Ghost pattern.

Its clones no longer heal Phantasmal Delezie.

Conductor Rabineta summons these dolls from the grave one after another.

 

The grave is now destroyed when subject to a certain amount of damage, and immediately summons the dolls upon destruction.

 

For parties of 2 or more players, the grave summons as many dolls as the party members at once.

 

Leonor summons summons a more powerful axe upon death at higher difficulty levels.

 

Jerome summons more Nen Flowers upon death at higher difficulty levels.

 

Kill Joe summons summons a more powerful tombstone upon death at higher difficulty levels.

Conductor Rabineta

You can attack Conductor Rabineta after eliminating all the souls that he summoned.

 

You will receive continuous damage while in Conductor Rabineta's shadow.

 

His shadow grows larger at higher difficulty levels.

 

When the souls summoned by Conductor Rabineta divide themselves, they summon Rabineta\'s Split Souls and Unstable Spirit Fragments at once, and do not divide again.

 

Conductor Rabineta loses a certain amount of HP upon activating its Deal Time pattern.

Chief Saz

Chief Saz now leaves behind a tombstone upon death.
  - Chief Saz resurrects from the tombstone after a while.

 

Chief Saz periodically drops a grave from the sky.
  - The grave periodically summons dolls after landing.
  - More graves are summoned at higher difficulty levels.

Pandemos Floo

It no longer attacks in response to Clear Cube skills.

 

It becomes Invincible every time a certain condition is met. You can cancel this Invincibility by hitting the Drum object in the map.

 

Pandemos Floo's Shield pattern now cools down for a longer period.

 

The Sign effect for the ghost's Charge pattern has been updated.

 

Its Bite pattern has been improved.

 - Bleeds you after a certain difficulty level.

 - Bleeds you and recovers its HP after a certain difficulty level.

 

Its Ground Fist Summon pattern has been improved.

 - Temporarily creates a Shadow area around itself and inflicts damage after a certain difficulty level.

 - Creates a Shadow area around itself and inflicts damage over a set period after a certain difficulty level.

 

The ghost's Charge pattern has been improved.

 - The ghost charges 4 times after a certain difficulty level.

 - The ghost charges 5 times after a certain difficulty level.

- The Mad Piper summons Freezing butterflies, Giant Rats, Biting Rats, and Rat Swarms.

- The Mad Piper, when its HP drops below a certain amount, repeatedly summons swarms of black rats that move across the map. You can jump to avoid the rats.

- The Mad Piper summons more swarms of black rats at higher difficulty levels.

Scavenger

Scavenger's Invisible mode is canceled when Scar dies.

 

Some skills have been added to Scar.

- Bite: Pounces on you and recovers HP when its HP drops below a certain amount.

- Berserk: Increases its outgoing damage, Physical/Magic Def., Movement/Attack Speeds when its HP drops below a certain amount.
 a) Berserk also casts Super Armor.

- Debuff: His attack pattern that once removed your buffs, inflicted damage, and cast a buff on himself has been changed.
  a) No longer removes your buffs or inflicts damage. Instead, copies your buffs for himself.

- Scavenger Absorption: He no longer absorbs Scavengers and recovers HP when his HP drops below a certain amount.

 

His Berserk skill becomes doubly powerful at higher difficulty levels.

Duke of Imprisonment Agonis

Agonis's Melee/Ranged Counterattack pattern has been updated.

 - His attacks that utilize objects are no longer considered Ranged attacks.

 - His attack distance determines the Melee/Ranged attack decisions.

 - Counterattack damage by minions and summoned objects is still added to their summoner.

 

A graphic effect and casting bar has been added to show Agonis's Melee/Ranged Counterattack Pattern range.

 - If you attack Agonis while inside the Danger Zone effect, then Agonis casts Freeze, Immobility, Petrification, Chaos, and other Abnormal Status effects on you.

 

A graphic effect and casting bar has been added to show Agonis's Counterattack Pattern duration.

 

Agonis no longer teleports to get close to you when you move away from him.

 

Agonis has been renamed to more properly express his authority.

 - Duke Agonis → Duke of Imprisonment Agonis

The Named monster, Covetous Dumpherion, now appears at all times.

 - You must defeat Dumpherion to summon Agonis.

 

Agonis summons one of his lieutenants, Dark Kator, at higher difficulty levels.

- Kator decreases your vision, and his Cruse skill decreases your HP if you are hit by it while your vision is decreased. 
 - You can evade Kator's Curse skill by looking in the opposite direction at the time it's cast.
 a) The Shadow Curse and Shadow Possession skills now cast Super Armor instead of Invincibility.

Delezie, Plagued Apostle

The Elemental Reflection pattern has been deleted.

 

Delezie no longer resists Abnormal Status damage.

 

A new skill, Plague Gas, has been added.

- Delezie spreads plague gas around him, inflicting Poison damage and decreasing vision for those within his range.

 

The following skills are reinforced at higher difficulty levels.

 - Drill Attack: Summons multiple clones and delivers Area-effective Drill attacks at regular intervals, causing Bleeding damage.

 - Twister: Additionally summons a plaguing wind and bacteria around the twister, casting different levels of Slow and Curse (stat reduction) depending on the difficulty level.

- Plague Gas: Additionally causes plaguing bacteria (decrease your outgoing damage) and Poison explosions (additional Poison damage) at higher difficulty levels.

 

Delezie now casts Super Armor instead of Invincibility while summoning his fragments.

 

Delezie no longer becomes Invincible when downed.

 

A casting gauge has been added to the Chasing Screw pattern.

 

Delezie's fragments disappear when he dies.

 

Kartel Headquarters

The Forward Multi-hit Fire Attack pattern has been added.

 

The Multi Missiles pattern has been added.

 - Summons a target object when activated. You can destroy the target to cancel its activation.

 - Shoots dirigible missiles at higher difficulty levels.

Watchman Goro

You will now receive less damage from falling to the ground.

 

When you fall to the ground, Watchman Goro follows you down to the ground and continues to attack.

 - If at least one of your party members falls to the ground, then Watchman Goro follows.

 - If at least one of your party members falls to the ground, then the bridge explodes.

 

While on the ground, Watchman Goro uses various trap patterns, e.g., requests air raids and activates mines.

 

The Bridge Detonation pattern is reinforced at higher difficulty levels.

Head Security Kurgiv

The Fire Multi Cannonballs pattern has been added.

 - This pattern is reinforced at higher difficulty levels.

 

The Self-destructive Du pattern has been added.

 - One Du follows you, and then explodes after a while.

Captain Rangelus

He no longer reflects damage in Defense mode.

 

The Shield pattern has been added.

 - While shielded, Rangelus is immune to damage.

 - This shield is destroyed when subject to a certain amount of damage.
